When I went to see Chris at the National Fitting Center to get fitted for my new wedges, we spent quite some time on the various bounce and grind options of the Vokey Wedges. So - the answer is likely not as simple as one may hope. Check the Titleist Fitting Thursday Schedule from the menu at the top of the forum and you will see there is a scheduled day at St. Andrews Valley on 6/27/19. Perhaps you can book a free fitting and try out the differences and discuss with the fitter. My experience is that they are all top notch fitters and can really help you make the right choice based on not only your swing, but also taking into account the type of course you normally play.

Just booked for July 4. I’ve had a fitting by Chris before, Top notch fitter. We play many different courses. They all seem to be similar except bunkers. Some are nice sandy bunkers and some are like clay.

Kind of depends on how you use your PW IMO. If you use it almost exclusively for full shots (i.e. as a shorter distance full shot than your 9-Iron) you may be better off matching it to your full set. If on the other hand you need (or want) more flexibility it might be easier to chip with / open the face on a Vokey. I have both a PW matched to my AP2s and a 46 degree Vokey. It rotates but I think given most of my PW shots are full / 3/4 swings I am more consistent with the AP2 PW. YMMV.

The Vokey won't be as forgiving as the pitching wedge that comes in your set. I'd stick to the set pitching wedge and get some others that you can use around the greens and in bunkers. I myself will be getting a 54 M grind and a 60 D grind. My gap wedge is a 50 degree stock ap2 which is good for full shots and bump and runs.
