Be interested to hear from those that have tested both the TS2 and the TS3 as to which they prefer.

My driver swing speed is only around 94 to 96 so keep that in mind as you may have a much higher swing speed which may change the result for you. I tried both during a fitting for a new 3 wood, and found that both thee TS2 and TS3 gave me more distance and demonstrated an increased club head speed. For me the TS2 seemed to give me a better dispersion as compared to the TS3. Hope that helps a little bit.

    I've hit both.
I prefer the TS2 for the added forgiveness.

I also tried both and went with the TS2. I found that the TS3, for me anyways, was not that different from my 917.

I was fortunate enough to test both at the fitting centre at eagles nest. I prefer the forgiveness of the TS2 and have been gaming it this season and love it. Looking forward to seeing the new utility irons.

I tried both and was fitted into a TS3. I am a high handicap player but when I go for fittings the fitter says my eye appeals to smaller heads. For irons I was fitted into AP2's, the fitter thought I would have been better in AP3 at first seeing my swing. At the end of the session he said the AP2's was much better for my game.

I was more consistent with TS2

I was fitted for both and the TS3 was the better driver for me. Narrowly beat out the TS2. Loved the flight of the 3 and consistency.

My fitting was similar to many on here too. The TS2 was the best fit for me -- I think that a large part of that is because the feel of the TS2 was very similar to my 915 D2 but with increased swing speed/ball speed. I was able to swing the longer shafted club consistently and controlled so it paid off.

The TS3 was too similar to the 917D2 for me and it just never felt comfortable in my hands. I did have some nice swings, but the consistency just was not there for me.

Now you have the option of the TS1 as well. Best to go and get fit. Swing all the options and see which one is best for you.
  11. Personally, as a higher handicapper, I thought the TS2 would be what fit my game better as I struggled with dispersion of the tee. Ultimately though I had better spin rates and fit into the TS3.

Hey Jordan ... so did you opt to buy the TS3? Or are you still considering your options?
  13. I went with the TS3.
  14. I have tried both and overall had the best results(spin, distance dispersion) and was fitted with the TS3, which is in my bag. The shape seems to suit my eye better than the elongated shape of the TS2. Having said that, I have played Titleist drivers over the years (910, 913D3, 915D2, 917D2) and the TS drivers are really something special....my consistency and increased distance ever since the TS3 has been in my bag has never been better. You can’t really go wrong with any of the TS drivers.

Now that the weather is hot I can see the difference from my 917 to the TS3. I'm hitting almost 300 yards with this TS3 and bunkers I used to avoid by laying up with a 3 wood i'm ending up in them with the TS3 3 wood. My 818H2 19 degree is going about 220 which was a little shorter than my 917F3. I love the sound off the TS3 as well, much better than the 917.

  16. I tested both at my fitting, preferred the TS3, just fit my game better as I don't tend to miss on the heel, and I could get my spin rates more dialled in. What a game changer have never had more trust in my driver before and have never hit the ball as far and as accurate as I am with the TS3. Gained 25 yards and cut my dispersion distance in half. Defiantly a must try.

    Lethbridge,

I tested both. The TS3 was the best for my swing and the one I purchased. I have loved it ever since I especially like the fact that I could use the shaft from my 915 driver in it.
  18. Just started getting back into golf after a 15 year absence...

    Current Driver - 9.5 Degree 905D - Stiff shaft
    3 Wood - 13 Degree 975F - Stiff Shaft

So - I decided to go and get fitted for a new Driver and 3 Wood at the Titleist Fitting Centre at Northview in Cloverdale, BC — with Dan Naismith...

The whole experience was rather enlightening - as all the technology has changed so much since I last purchased anything new for golf clubs...

Tried both the TS2 and TS3 - with various settings / shafts / lengths - etc...

Ended up with the TS3 Driver - 9.5 Degree - 45.5 inch - HZRDUS Stiff Shaft - Standard settings..
    And the TS3 - 15 Degree - 3 Wood - HZRDUS Stiff Shaft - Standard settings...

Found both these clubs gave me penetrating / consistent - accurate ball flight - with exceptional added distance - roughly 15 - 25 yards with the Driver and 10 - 15 yards with the 3 Wood....

Look forward to getting fit for the new Titleist Irons - being introduced this September....as I’m still playing the 990B Irons from 2001....!!

I tried both but ended up going with the TS3. Both drivers performed admirably but the TS3 had a better look for my eye. Since receiving my custom order I can honestly say it has been longer than anything I have ever hit and also, a fairway finder which has really never been part of my game. I was custom fit by the guys at Titleist with a Hzdus Smoke X-stiff shaft. My previous driver only had stiff. It has kept me long and straight I I love the club!

Having got fitted at Eagle's Nest for the TS driver. I opted for the TS3 driver 9.5. I love the driver so much, purchased the TS2-9.5 as well. Best Titleist driver to date for me!!!! Highly recommend the TS driver and woods. Spent the money wisely and get fitted at a Titleist fitting center near you, it will be the best money that you have ever spent!!!!! Continue to hit them long and straight!!!!!

Robert ... I'm showing my age, but it reminds me of an old commercial: "I liked it so much, I bought the company"! I went with the T2 Driver ... I've hit some mammoth tee shots with it and am very pleased with it!
  22. i went from the 917d2 (couldn't keep control) to the TS2 and love the forgiveness of the club.

Purchased a TS3 on Tuesday. I tried the TS2 and TS3; the spin rates were lower with the TS3 vs TS2. The TS3 just felt better swinging than the TS2.

I have the TS3 set at C4 with a Project X Even Flow T1100 White 65g shaft. My spins rates on the launch monitor were under 2000 rpm; which was a drastic improvement over my 917 D2.

I noticed that of the 21 top ranked PGA Titleist Brand Ambassadors that have elected to play the TS drivers, if the WITB is current, 2 are reported playing the TS2, 2 are playing the TS4, none are playing the TS1, and 15 are playing the TS3. Interesting...
