I bought the TS2 last season when it first came out and have been happy with the performance. But, I have always considered cutting the shaft to 45 " from the 45.5". My 917 was 45 " and I guess I was used to that length. I did it last week after a Titleist demo at my home course and have to say that I am extremely satisfied with the results. I also added a +2 gr weight to the bottom, as recommended by Titleist, to bring the swing weight back to D2. I know that it is only a .5" difference, but that difference has made the world of difference to me. Maybe it is in my head, but I feel so much more confident over the ball at address, and the ball goes where I want it to much more consistently. Choking down did not give the same results as cutting the shaft, as I was trying that for the last 3 weeks.
