I wrote in a previous discussion thread about how well our club made out during their Titleist Fitting Day. On that day in February they did 15 or 16 fittings and sold 4 sets of AP3 Irons as well as some 917 Drivers and some Fairway woods. At the time, I thought that was awesome. Since then, they have placed orders for another 4 sets, and it is anticipated another 5 or six members are close to pulling the trigger on making a purchase.
All that is great for Titleist and I am happy to know the brand is making an impact on our members. For me however, it is not the best of news...
I purchased my AP3's and a new 917 driver last fall when the new irons were released (following a fitting with Chris at the National Fitting Centre). My goal was to equip myself with the best product on the market to give me an edge on my fellow members and perhaps an upper hand during the 2018 Club Championship. Alas - with so many of the members putting Titleist clubs in their bags, I will have to go back and rely on talent :(
That is so much harder !!!!!!!
Way to go Titleist......
