I have a fitting question for Chris if possible. Chris, I am hitting all my Titleist clubs mint that you have me set up on. The new wedges are just mint. KBS tour S+ in the new 716s are great. If there is one area I want to improve its my 3 wood (915 F rogue silver X 70). I am finding that it is too light feeling in my hands and I am super quick with it, hitting hooks even on the most open settings. Only club in bag that does that.

Have been experimenting with lead tape as I have done in the past (have a couple strips on diver) and had success. My question is where would you put the lead tape on the 915F 3W??? In the arc channel? Across the back? Mid point on sole? I hit it off the deck on par 5s and off the tee for shorter par 4s and don't want the tape to keep coming off. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks buddy, James G

    Hi James,

I would suggest adding weight via the Surefit weight. You can order individual weights through an Authorized Titleist retailor. Weights are offered in 4, 7, 9, 11, and 14 grams. This method will be more reliable than adding lead tape to a club with turf interaction.

    I hope this helps!

I was thinking about doing that. So if I have a standard (red?) surefit weight is that 9Grams?
Would I order the blue and black to try to give it more weight?
