Many of us are guilty of a lack of practice...I know I am!

Some may simply not have the patience for it while others have limited time meaning they want to be out on the course whenever possible. With that said, there are others who spend hours per week crafting their game and working on different shots.

Where do you fall?  How many hours per week do you practice?

On Monday, June 8, 2015 at noon EST, we will randomly select 2 participants from this poll.  Each of the 2 winners will receive: 1 x Team Titleist T-Shirt, 1 x Team Titleist Lanyard, 1 x Team Titleist Mug, 1 x Team Titleist Divot Tool and 1 x Team Titleist Logo'd Cap.

CANADIAN RESIDENTS ONLY. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. ONE ENTRY PER HOUSEHOLD

Voted!  Practice makes perfect, or so they say.  I mostly hit a few before a round just to see what I brought with me and generally play the round with what I brought.  Most of my practice is done after a round to try and fix what didn't quite work during that round and hopefully take into the next time's round.  It's a continuing cycle.

I'm not Canadian, but I'm sure glad to see TT show a lil love to our brothers to the North.  I generally practice about 2 hours per week during the season.  I shoot for 6 hours during the off season.

1-2 hours per week on average for me.  I would practice more if I had the extra time.  Therefore most of my club swinging occurs on the course.

I get out and practice at least two hours per week. The majority of my practice is putting and chipping. I am also spending a significant amount of my time playing in and around bunkers at the practice facility. I find my long game and mid irons are fine (overall) so I try to spend most of my time with the scoring clubs. Wedges and putter !

I'm guilty of not practicing. I try to get out at the beginning of the season to get some swings in. Then I usually just warm up around the greens to practice chipping and putting. I want to get out and work on my game but just no time, and now with an injury to my shoulder I would rather play than practice.

My second home is a driving range. I practice more than I play.

I've hit balls late into the night, during a winter snowfall on more than one occasion. Those nights were so great, with the snow that covered the ground and the lights that lit the range. Hot chocolate, overhead heater, your breath in the air. Great memories.

    Guilty as charged.

As someone mentioned, most of my practice comes at the start of the season, while the courses are still greening up.  After that, I prefer to spend my time playing rather than practicing, but I should practice more.  If time permits, I do try to loosen up before the round.

    Regards,

I like to practice more than I currently do which is less than 1 hour per week. Our practice range is currently out of service due to construction though there is a range nearby that lures me. Thanks again for another good topic Mitch!

I would like to practice as much as I work full time....However, the paycheck probably wouldn't even come close to being the same. Nonetheless, when I retire, I plan on working at the club, and playing golf all day long.....Looking forward to that!

2-3 hours a week⛳️ Mainly from 150 yds. Those are the shots that can make a bad game good or a good game great!

This year I finally joined a golf club and the practise facility is awesome! I'll get out at least 1/2hr before a round but also dedicate 2 hr a week to work on short game or whatever struggles I am experiencing. It has really helped my game and confidence!! Thanks for the opportunity Mitch and Team Titleist!

I am lucky enough to to live and work about 10 minutes from my home course so I am able to practice quite a bit. The range is also a great place to unwind after work for an hour or so.

We don't have a range near us so unless I'm going to be playing at a course that has practice facilities I am limited to chipping and putting when playing at my home course. I am always early and pass the time on the putting green/chipping before I tee off. If we had a range nearby I would be there all the time.

I golf 2 times a week. Before each round I go to the driving range.Spend approx. 1/2 hour each time.  The only time I have to practice.

Would like to practice more. Definitely feel a lot better on course if the practice to play ratio is up.

So far this season I have been lucky if i can hit balls once a week, let alone play a round.  Average i would say i only get about 1 hour a week, terrible!!!

  22. Just had a baby with my wife in December so I find little time to practice this year. Usually get to the course once a week and practice is limited to about 30-60min before round. Hoping to get more practice in as the summer goes.
