Hey team, I was at the 915 launch event Eagles Nest in the fall and over the winter upgraded to a new set of 915s. 915 D3 9.5, Rogue Silver Xflex (A1) 915 F 16.5 Rogue Black X flex (C1) 915 H 21 Tour Green Xflex. (C2) Now that spring is here and I have multiple rounds under my belt all I can say is ......WOW! I love these new woods. The LONG winter wait was worth it. So consistent. To keep our Canada forum going thought I'd ask the team....Anyone else load up on some new clubs this spring and how are they working out? Please share. Cheers Team, James

This may sound crazy, but I have purchased 12 Titleist 913 clubs in the past 3 months. I have a huge respect for Titleist and I love the idea of owning all of their fairway woods (5 lofts total) and their hybrids (5 lofts total) all within the 913 line up. I also have a 913D3 driver, my 913D2 is on the way as I type this. This gives me the luxury of picking what I want for a particular course or range. Drop them in the bag and go. All the best.

James...  Congrats on your winter purchases. I was fortunate to be able to see the new launch of the 915's last fall as well. Unfortunately, I had just one year under the belt with my 913 D2 Driver and even less with my 913 F which I picked up in the summer of 2015. As such - I will have to stick with these kids in my bag for a while. I may be in the market for a new wedge this summer, but still not sure.

Looking forward to hearing how you make out through the season with your new additions. Question - What did you replace?

    Darius

Is it just me, or does it take forever to get anything posted on these forums?

    Hi JMT,
All posts are moderated prior to appearing in order to protect the content and integrity of the site.  You posted this just before 8PM last night.  Unfortunately, we did not get in to moderate after 8PM last night...your post was approved at 9:30AM today.  Not too bad given the time of your post.  Our apologies if you find that a little slow.  We'll do what we can to speed things up a little. ; )

    Thanks for your feedback.

I am coming from a fabulous season that brought my hdcp down from 5 to a 2.

I have switched to 915 D3 with AD DI 6x, 915F AD DI 85x and 915H AD DI 95x. I had one of the longest driving average last year of my life but the SLDR was wild went I was a touch off. I played 2 rounds and a good 10 range session now and I must say that I am as far but way straighter and less wild.

I am coming out of a set of cally Razr x MB with PXi 6.0 to a set of AP2 with modus 120x. (they should arrive on Thursday)

I have always been a cleveland wedge man. I tried the SM4 line and just could not hit them properly if my life depended on it. I decided to try the SM5. I don't know why but I am hitting them really well and getting some very consistent chipping.

This summer, I am aiming at going to a scratch hdcp.

WOW indeed! I also upraded my 910's to the 915's for this year. I was fit the 2nd last day of the year at Eagle's Nest to the 915D2 9.5 & 915F 16.5. I am still trying to get used to the loudness of the driver, but an easy trade off for how it performs. The carry is about as far as the total distance I had with the old 910 in the same settings. The fairway wood may be the absolute best club I have ever hit. The ball just jumps off the face and flies a very consistant distance. The carry on the 915F 16.5 is about 15 yards farther than my old 910F 15. For sure the go to club on most holes this year. After a long 5 months off with snow & -20's, c'mon warm weather!!

I'm gaming a 915 D2 8.5* with a Diamana Kai'li 70x (C2); a 915 Fd 13.5* with a Diamana S+ 80x (B1); and a 915H 18* wiht a Diamana S+ 90x (C1).  I've got a decent number of rounds and range trips with these under my belt, and I've been quite impressed with everything, though admittedly, I did have to go for a fitting update after finding that I didn't get along well with the Rogue Silver 70x that I was originally fitted for.  The performance was good, but feel just wasn't my cup of tea for some reason that I can't quite put my finger on.  Got fit into a Kai'li 70 when I was fit for my 915 Fd and 915H and all is well now!

    Hi Mark,

I'm very curious about your comment about going for a "fitting update" on the 915D2.  I was originally fitted for a Whiteboard 70 Stiff on my 915D2, and it was a very close call between that and the Rogue Silver 70S.  The Whiteboard has more distance with slightly wider dispersion compared to the Rogue.  In real life, the Whiteboard is delivering, but I remember the feel of the Rogue being so much more pleasant... again, like you can't quite put my finger on it.  Did you have to purchase the Kai'li 70, or was there some form of exchange service?

    Regards,

I'm gaming  new (new to me) 712 AP2's with KBS tour shafts with a 46 vokey instead of the pw.  Also gaming a brand new Scotty Newport 2 Select - loving the season!

Most of my equipment is already Titleist but I did find myself a Scotty Studio Stainless Newport to add to my bag. I bought it used but it is in great shape....and so far I'm absolutely loving it! I'm also working on converting my hubby to Titleist. He's always played ProV1's but this year I've managed to get him to add a 913 3 wood and a Scotty to his bag. He's actually thinking about being fit for Titleist irons now too. It looks like my encouragement is going to pay off! ;)

915D2 9.5 Aldila Rogue Black 70 and AP2 irons. Picked up the driver and got fitted for the irons two weeks ago. Irons arrived this week. Can't wait for tomorrow to hit the AP2s!

Lots of new toys this year.

    915 D2 Diamana D+ 70x

    915F Diamana D+ 80x

    913 Hd Fujikura Motore F3 95HB

    Vokey SM5 52

    Vokey SM4 58

    Scotty Cameron Select Newport 2

The only leftovers from last season are the AP2's which are the 712's. Been seriously thinking about a set of 714 AP2's but I may just wait to see what new irons Titleist comes out with this year.

Hey Team! What a great response. Nice to see so many of us that were at Eagles nest enjoying. I love reading all your set ups Team. very cool to see. Nice to see some energy back on OUR Canadian forum. Darius you asked what I replaced, it was 913 D3 8.5 deg (Diamana D+ Xflex 62,) Very old Cleveland Hibore 3 wood (but it was a favorite but not anymore lol) and a 910H 19 deg with Diamana Khali. JMT-064.....that not so crazy when you think of how we tend to collect that which we love. Your habit though is a pricey one! Wendy, keep working on that hubby! A Titleist Family plays as a family :) Enjoy this GREAT weekend team. Spring is here in Ontario and never looked better! James G
