Darius, there is a great deal of hope and anticipation down here in Southwestern Ontario. The snow is gone and it appears we are about two to three weeks away from most of the courses opening. We have a forecast of a high of 19 Celsius today as well to help advance it a little further.

Hi Darius,
Last week, after a couple of back-to back 9°C days, we were very hopeful here in the Montreal area. But, alas, Mother Nature decided to dump another 5cm on us over the weekend, with another similar dusting forecast for tomorrow. I think March is a write-off for the Montreal area. I think I'll go buy those heated insoles for my ski boots. Looks like we're in for a long spring skiing season!

Hello Darius and fellow Team Titleist members I am fortunate enough to live in BC. Here in the beautiful Fraser Valley we are able to golf almost every day of the year. The weather this year has been unusually warm and dry. I golfed this morning at my home golf course, Royalwood, it is in excellent condition, fast greens, lush fairways, great golf and lots of opportunities to also take pictures of some eagles. Life is good. Hopefully the weather will warm up soon and those of you living in other parts of Canada can also enjoy some early spring golf.
Today I was able to test the 915 D2 9.5* driver with Mitsubishi Diamana S+ Blue 60 shaft and also installed my own Graphite Design shaft in the 915 head to test against my current 913 D3 gamer and saw no great improvement in distance or accuracy with either shaft (probably just because I feel so comfortable with my current 913 D3)... hoping the 915 D4 will be a better fit for me so I can justify the purchase of yet another new Titleist driver. I really do love my 913 D3 8.5* with the GD Tour Ad BB-6 stiff shaft and am pleased that the SureFit Tour Hosel in the 915 driver shaft is the same as my current drivers so I can still use the expensive upgraded shafts from the 910 and 913 drivers that I still own in the new 915 line of drivers (should I buy one).. Mitch are you able to give us some idea how soon we will be able to order the new 915 D4 driver in Canada? TIA

Darius,
We hit 80 in St Louis today and all the fair weather golfers were at the courses. I played 7 rounds in Jan and the first week of Feb, then we had some snow and cold which kept the courses closed. Last week we warmed up nice (mid 60s) but the courses were still relatively empty so I was able to scoot around in about 3 hours, but not today...5 hours. We are supposed to drop back in to the 50s for a couple days, so the courses will be empty again....yes!
I hope you start thawing out soon and are able to get out and start playing.

Hi everyone! I feel somewhat sheepish replying to the posting. But, we have had a great winter & very early Spring season out here on the West Coast. I've managed to get in quite a few rounds this year already -- at least compared to what we normally would get. The unseasonably dry and warmer winter here means that many courses remained open and in very good condition. Alas, I find though that my game has evolved and changed somewhat ... with the sloppier ground conditions I find it much harder to keep my feet well planted. Also, the much cooler temperatures means that my golf ball has not been carrying and rolling off the tee as much either! I will add though that I have been playing the new Pro V lineup ... shot one of my best rounds ever two weeks ago (+4 over par) and was super pleased with the performance of the ball during that stretch. I got some great distance off the tee and some excellent control around the green. I was happy that some of my approaches to the green were biting nicely and between my new AP2 irons and the new Pro V1, the shots were stopping really well, giving me lots of looks at birdie opportunities. Alas, I only made 2! :-). Wishing all of you back east a quick return to golf season!
Hi everyone!
My apologies for the "double post". I had composed the first post response and then got called away for something. When I returned I thought that I had timed out from the TT site so I tried to re-create a response post. I see that they both went through and were posted ... I am sheepish now! : - )

My Range opened today.

I got out on the range today. Yay !!!
For those in Barrie, the range at the airport is open for business. Grass tees are shaggy, but still better than hitting off mats :)
A couple more weeks and my home course at Vespra Hills will be open.
Oh yea - the last bit of snow in my backyard melted away today !!!!!
Darius
Trevor DBragg Creek,
Finally open up here in Alberta!

I have been out the last couple weeks and am loving the spring weather. It's been a long winter and am happy to be outside again. Hope you all have had a chance to shake the rust off and get out as well. See you on the coarse Stu
A slight delay has cropped up...
Picture taken April 23rd in the morning here in Barrie. I did not think I was too early putting up the gazebo last week.
I really really really do hope that this is Mother Nature's last kick at us and let's us enjoy the links without any more of this crap. If this keeps up I will have to switch to yellow balls, and Titleist does not make ProV's in yellow :(

I played in Lacolle, Qc a couple of fridays ago when we hit 14 degrees in the area. The course was very damp. Played 81 with 3 lost balls in the middle of the fairway.
I really loved the flight of my 915 woods and hybrid. Same distance I was getting with my SLDR but way more forgiving.
Some course have opened last week around the Montreal area but it has been raining for the past week..
Looks like this is the week to hit the links and get these new 915s some action!
