Hi Team Titleist Members I was wondering if anyone is going to make the journey out to the Toronto golf show. I know in the past years that their were awesome deals on rounds of golf and golf packages. Cheers Steve H.

    Absolutely...

I plan on attending this Friday with my Golf Widow :)

I haven't gone to the show for a few years now so I am really looking forward to this one. Partly because of the colder than acceptable weather we have had recently, and partly because I really want to see what is out there to help improve my game.

My husband and I will be there on Saturday. We go every year with good friends of ours. There are a lot of travel booths but we don't mind....a day out golf related is never a bad thing. Plus we booked a PEI golf getaway at the show a couple years ago. Have fun!
  4. Planning on attending of friday since I'm in the market for a new golf bag

I'm going to miss it this year. We are moving into a new place this weekend at work. So going to miss out on all the good deals and new spots to go. You guys will have to let me know how it was. Steve H.

Well - My wife and I attended the show on Friday. Here is my overview...

The CGA had a section where one could get their swing analysed - $10 for 15 minutes. There was a hole in one challenge $5 for three shots, and there was a short driving range to give you an opportunity to hit some shots. Equipment sales ? Not many options available beyond some clothing and a mess of used clubs for sale. I did enjoy listening to the presentations related to various golf tips. Over-all, if one is looking for new innovative golf training aids, opportunities to look at new equipment like bags, clubs, umbrellas, etc... Then this is not the show for you. If you are looking for information on a large variety of golf courses across southern and western Ontario then this is a good show. If you are looking for Stay and Play golf opportunities in the States this show has a lot to offer. Personally - I was hoping to find some good info on a golf trip out west but did not find anything. I did find some good info for PEI and Nova Scotia however - I had a nice time chatting with them and do believe that a trip out east is definitely in the cards :)

Over all - I thought the show was good and we had a good time spending almost 3 hours wandering around through the various booths. I would still like to see more manufacturers there to give us a chance to see, touch, and feel the new products that are out there. I guess I was expecting something more along the lines of the golf show held in Orlando earlier this year (of course not quite that huge).

I was chatting with one of the organizers and understand that this year is a re-building year as the show apparently has been faltering lately, so perhaps next year ?

    Darius
