    Hey Everyone,

Looking for a little info.  I was fitted for my AP2's last year.  After my session, it was determined that i could use my irons 2 degrees up. After spending the season with them and taking some lessons, my swing has changed quite a bit.  Before i was quite steep on my downswing and being a typical amateur, had a difficult time not coming over the top. I assume this was the reason my fitter went with what he did. Absolutely not complaining about anything the fitter did for me, i absolutely love these clubs. However, since adjusting my stance, working extremely hard on my takeaway and backswing, my downswing has finally come around and I now swing on plane(majority of the time, hahah).   I notice that at address, the toe of my club is quite far off the ground. I would say that I have a lot of heel contact in the address position to the point where it looks like there isn't much of the bottom of the club face parallel with the ground. I know that the address position doesn't necessarily show how you will be hitting at impact, but i see that club face at address and I would be lying if I said it doesn't bother me a bit.  Would I be able to get my irons bent back to the *standard*  lie?  Where would i send them? And, approximately how long would i be without them???

Should I maybe get refitted and see what the consensus is??

Thanks guys, any info will help!

    Hi Lee W,

I would suggest seeing an Authorized Titleist Fitter to re-check your lie angles.  Make sure to mention your visual concerns and swing changes, and the fitter will take care of the rest!  As you mentioned, the lie angle at impact is what matters the most.  However, visually the iron must suit your eye which will inspire confidence!

    I hope this helps!

    Chris
