  1. Hello everyone. Can someone explain how this is considered a mid to high bounce wedge? If Vokey use "effective bounce"  in their wedge selection guide how can a 54.10 S Grind have a lower bounce?

I bought the 58.08 M Grind to use as a versatile club off tight lies and for out of the sand though I don't think I have enough bounce for mid to fluffy bunkers.

Also what 54 model would compliment the 58.10 for fluffy sand and deep rough?

Thanks in advance for any responses.

  2. Apologies. I meant 58.08 in the second last line. Not 58.10.

I just noticed an area dedicated to Vokey wedges, I wonder if this thread can be moved?

    Hi Dan,
Based on your description, it sounds like you would really like the new 58.11 K grind.
The sole design and more effective bounce would likely perform better out of soft sand.
A 54.14 would also perform well out of soft sand.

Here is a link that will help you find Titleist Fitting Partners in your area who can help fit you for Wedges should that be the path that you choose: http://www.titleist.ca/find-a-golf-shop/default.aspx

  4. Ok thanks Chris. The flange on that K is quite large and would make chipping/pitching from tight lies rather difficult I think. During practice I actually hit the 58.08 pretty good at my course out of what I'd say was medium sand, and I really enjoy pitching/chipping with it. To fill the gap from my 50W I think I'll get the 54.10M grind. Again, the 54.14 will have too much bounce.

I posted it in the US forum as well, though I wonder why the only 12 bounce in Vokey is in a 52 loft? Kinda strasnge if you ask me!
