    Titleist ... Where are Scotty Cameron putters manufactured, specifically the Newport and Newport Select series? May I presume that all legal Newport/Newport Select series Scotty Cameron putters are manufactured in the USA and not overseas? Reason: Canada Customs charges duty on golf clubs imported from the US, unless it can be shown that the club(s) was manufactured in the US and not overseas. In such cases Canada Customs will reimburse duties charged on imported products. I am hoping that a post by a representative of Titleist to this question will act as the ‘proof’ of the manufacturing origin required to allow me to submit a claim for reimbursement from Canada Customs. Thank you.

    I wish you the best of luck with that endeavor. I do not envy you at all. Canada Customs can be incredibly difficult to deal with on matters such as this. I had a similar situation and had to have a "certificate" of authenticity and manufacture, basically a letter on company letterhead, that acknowledged that the product in question was manufactured and assembled in the United States. The letterhead also included address of the company and its manufacturing facility. Did you buy your clubs through a Pro Shop, Golf Store (ie: Golftown?) or through the Titleist Fitting Centre? I'm curious because I just ordered some clubs through the Titleist Regional Fitting Centre. Thanks and best of luck with it!
