Stu,
With regards to the ferrules, this will not be a big issue and will not affect the playability of the irons.
However, the ferrules should not slide and we would be more than willing to correct them and have each one reset.
In order to complete any work on the clubs, please bring them to your local authorized Titleist dealer and have them contact us for a return authorization (RA) number. Once the number has been issued, we will send out for a pick up and have the work completed as soon as they arrive in our repairs. The decision would be yours as to when you would like to send them in, either immediately or at the conclusion of the season, either way we will be happy to help.

I noticed today that my set of 712 AP1's also have a few clubs where the ferrules are separating from the head.
I am glad to hear that it is not a bad sign that the heads are coming off. What kind of a charge should one expect to have the irons shipped back to Titleist for the repairs? Is this an expensive fix?

Hi Darius,You Titleist Authorized Retailer determines the final price of the repair. Please discuss your options with them and they can provide you with pricing along with all other details. Cheers,Mitch DTeam Titleist CAnada
Thanks Mitch...

As you noticed in this discussion thread you started, I had a couple of AP1 irons where the furrels were separating from the club head as well. I was thinking fo sending them in to get fixed, but someone at my club told me that if I placed the furrel under the tap while running hot water it would expand enough for me to slide it back down.
I tried it, and it worked great. I heated up the furrel under the kitchen tap and used an adjustable wrench set to the width of the shaft to allow me to push the furrel back down to the club head. I used the wrench to give me something that would push on the furrel as my fingers were slipping on the wet furrel.
I would imagine they will slide up the shaft again next summer when they are in the heat of the sun as I did not add any glue, but for now they look finished again ! You may want to try that until you can send them away to get glued properly :)
