    Hello,

I recently purchased a custom Titleist 913 19 degree hybrid with a Bassara Stiff shaft.  I specifically ordered this shaft as I am a low ball hitter and it helps hit it higher.  Unlike my driver, I noticed the back weight is a blue (8g) weight and not a red (6g) weight like my driver.  The club does feel a bit heavier and I am wondering why this was done?  I get that I can feel the club head more but the last thing I need is more weight to slow down my swing.  Is there a specific reason? I know I can probably change it, I just want to know why this decision was made.  Thanks

    Justin,

With regards to the SureFit Tour Weight that is used at the time of build, the actual shaft (all shafts are balanced and weigh differently) as well as the length of the shaft and grip will determine which weight is placed in the head.

We stock the 913 Hybrids in the 19* at a D2-D3 swing weight (shaft dependant), with your make up the blue weight was utilized to get the club as close to this desired swing weight as possible.

Hope this helps, if you do have any further questions, please feel free to reach out.
