    Just got my first hole in one on July 5th!  It was a short little par 3, 110 yards with a 52degree Vokey SM4. Of course I was playing a ProV1!!  What made this extra special was that I just brought my 5 year old son out for his first round of golf. (He was getting tired of the range and putting greens) I took him to the same little 9 hole par 3 course that my dad first took me to some 25 years ago or so. He could not believe what he had just seen, nor could my brother(who was playing with us) and I.  So I had both of them as witnesses and another golfer who just happened to be walking up and adjacent fairway. Made for one unforgettable experience to say the least and the "root beers" tasted pretty sweet after!!

    Congratulations!  Golfing with your son and sharing the experience of actually getting your first hole in one with him in your group... PRICELESS.  I notice from your profile that you have a full set of Titleist clubs (looks much like my own bag profile).  I retired in 1999 and have found over the last 15 years of golfing that Titleist clubs have given me the best opportunity to score well (I need all the help I can get).  Hopefully you will have many other opportunities to share a "root beer" with your son as you or he gets another ACE.  Good luck to you both as you enjoy the wonderful game of golf together.

    Thanks for the comments everyone! As Kris noted, my bag is full Titleist. Getting a hole in one was fantastic, but there have been many more shots and experiences that i have had with these clubs that I just have never had with anything else. I know it is all up to individual preference, but i haven't hit anything that has given me the feel that Titleist does. Also, getting fitted for new irons this year was a game changer. Cant go wrong getting sized up! All that being said, I am a Titleist lifer for sure!
