Some like the power, technique, sound and feel of hitting their driver...Others enjoy the finesse and subtleties of their putter...Maybe you enjoy dialing into a flag with a wedge or short iron...
What is your favourite club in the bag and why?
Kris BChilliwack, BC
A very good question Mitch. I love all of my Titleist clubs and find that for me to score well I must truly use good course management. I don't drive the ball as far as I did when I was younger but I find most fairways with my Titleist 913 D3 driver. On really tight fairways I will use my 910 F or Fd fairway woods. My 714 AP2 irons and 910 hybrids have helped improve my ability to get in position to use my wedges. So to answer your original question I guess for me it is my Titleist Vokey wedges... they are the clubs that get me close enough to the pin to give me a chance to make a good putt with my Scotty Cameron putter. I've played an all Titleist bag since 1999 and wouldn't have it any other way.

Definitely an interesting question...
I would have to say that it truly depends on the day. Some days my 913D2 is my favorite, other days it's my 3&4 AP1 irons, then on other days it's the 8&9 AP1's.
Unfortunately my consistency is not completely there all the time, so the "favorite club" varies :)
The nice thing is that I have a good arsenal of Titleist clubs to choose from. My new Fairway wood should be in near the end of this week, or at the beginning of next week so who knows - that may want to step up and try to earn it's spot as the favorite !

I simply love my Titleist 690.MB seven iron even to the point of not hitting a driver or fairway metal off the tee and selecting alternative choices of clubs from the tee box just to get me to within the 7 iron's magical prowess to go at the green/pin.
As said by others, it's a course management thing as well but the confidence that it inspires me with is extremely fulfilling whether it's a full shot, knock down or whatever the elements dictate. Mostly, it allows me to shoot the second shot first and when I'm involved in match play, it becomes an advantage IMHO only because it gets the job done in so far as getting me on the green and close to the pin (10 feet most times) and from a further distance away in the fairway from the green than the competition. After a while it creates a "psychological thing" with the opponent or the competition and places a lot of pressure on them to perform with a shorter distance and a wedge.
I believe everyone, if they want to improve their score, should practice, practice and practice and will find that there is one low iron in their bag that seems to do better than others. Get to know that club, exploit it, teach it different shots... it's comfortable to you, it's your "Go To" club, make it THE Go To club and manage your game off the tee to accommodate it and you will gain automatic Course Management practices and then watch your score go down and perhaps your wallet thicken, lol!
Lastly, just standing over it at address and seeing the thin top line, etc. reminds me of 'dancing with a beautiful girl.'

Hi everyone I would have to say that my favorite club right now is the 913H wood. I am connecting with it nice and hitting it better than my fairway woods. Cheers Steve H.

Even though I haven't yet added the planned Vokeys or irons (likely AP1) it has to be the 909F2.

Great question Mitch!
For me, I'm still getting to know my AP2s and my 913H. But my trusty/rusty ol' 56° Vokey has always been a money club for me. I like it more than my 60, but probably because I use it a LOT more. Its groves are pretty worn out. Time for an SM5 replacement, I think. That being said, I put my AP2 GW in play the day after I picked it up from Golf Town. No practice shots hit with it, no clue what its actual range would be. First shot I made with it was to an island green and the result was right in the middle of the green, so it became my favorite club for several rounds... it could do no wrong! That status changed when I picked up my new 913H (love the RIP Phenom shaft). Put it into play last weekend, with great results. Soooo happy I opted for a 24° hybrid instead of a 4i. Maybe I should drop the 5i and get a 27° hybrid....
I have to agree with Darius. The status of "favorite" is probably going to be moving target.

Right now I don't have too many Titleist sticks in the bag. That is about to change dramatically. Out of my 909D3, 909F2 and 909H I have to say that I am in love with... (anyone have a 3 sided coin?) I would say the F2. Par 5's in two are trhe way now. I just brought home the D3 from Markham yesterday and took it to the range before my Pro Shop shift and wow! BOOM! It could be my fave.
Does my Futura count? I'm rolling the rock reallll well.

Hey Mitch
I, like others on TT love all my titleist clubs. But I will say that I could hit hundreds of balls with my AP2 8 iron on the range. I love the sound of it coming off the face to the beauty of the ball flight.

I would have to say my 710 AP2 6 iron is my favorite club. A few par 5's with a nice drive and a approach with a 6 iron is an awesome feeling, putting for eagle. I can hardly wait to get fitted for the 915's. I'm going to look at the MB's or CB's this year as well. Maybe i will have a new favorite club by this time next year.

My favorite titleist club would have to be F10 fairway 3wood love the contact and trajectory this club delivers especially in those tight tee shots and fairways

I would have to say my AP2 gap wedge every time i pull it out of the bag i have the confidence that I'm going to throw a dart on the pin.

My Favourite Titleist Club and why?
I have the 913D2 driver, Vokey wedges and the Scotty Cameron putter.
For me there are only "two" clubs that I can reliably say are my favourites...and that would be my Scotty Cameron putter and my Vokey wedges (I currently play with three wedges, 50*, 56* & 60*). Yes, I know there are three wedges and a putter ...technically four clubs, but I consider my three Vokey wedges as my one of my favourite clubs. I rely on them to score and they are serving me very very well.
For me, there is nothing more satisfying than using one of my wedges whether it be from about 75-100 yards out or from a greenside bunker and being able to get the ball pin high and a short putt for birdie or to save par, etc.
The other club is the Scotty Cameron putter...I just love the feel and the weight/balance of the putter. I find that i can get my ball rolling nicely, smoothly and on its line and that the balance of the putter is very true. When the putter is "hot" it means that I can make a lot of up and down pars ...and that helps my score!
I am glad that I had a proper fitting at the Titleist Regional Fitting Centre for my wedges...it was well worth the experience using both the Trackman for the data and to work with the experienced fitter as she was able to assist me with my distances, etc.
I just ordered the AP2 Irons so I will see how they respond!

My favorite Titleist club is my AP2 9 iron. I can hit a full shot or take a little off with consistency. I have confidence with all my Titleist clubs but the 9 iron is my favorite.
Thanks

I love my 54 vokey SM2 and scotty cameron squareback 2.

My favourite club is my 915F 13.5 degree fairway wood with Diamana D+ white 80x shaft. Instantly became my favorite when I was fit for it last week. I like to hit 3 wood off the tee a fair amount and use it for second shots on long par 5's. 3 wood has always been a 'go to' club for me and the 915 gives me a nice increase in distance and control. If only the weather hadn't turned so bad last night...

My favorite club is my Scotty Cameron Golo 5. I love the feel, design, easy alignment and roll.

I love all my Titleist clubs, but if I had to choose my favourite it would have to be my 910H 19 degree hybrid. I hit it anywhere from 190 - 205 and is my club of choice for my second shot on most par 5's!. I also love my Scotty Cameron Laguna 1.5 that my son gave me for Xmas last year
Nice to hear from you all, Happy Holidays!
I guess I have to update my answer. I turfed my AP1 in favour of the AP2. That said, I am gaga over my 3 iron. I have no trouble elevating it... I can keep shots below the wind.... not to mention those trouble shots when you have to hit a low running punch. It is versatile.
Ask me again when 915D2, 915F and 915H make their way into my bag later this winter.

My FTUO circle T Tour Select Laguna 1.5 in Black Mist.
I use it the most in game and practice. I searched high and low for the perfect gamer, and this is it.
It because of this putter most all my gear is Titleist!

By far my favorite club is the 19* 913H simply because of its versatility. It is easy to hit off the tee and off the deck on long par 3's,or short par 4's and especially on the long par 5's. Even out of mild wet rough the club head slides through effortlessly to make solid contact with the ball which usually results in the boring mid/high ball flight that is what I have come to expect from Titleist.
An all around versatile and well constructed club, great job Titleist!

I would have to say my 910f 15 degree It has never let me down Just purchased a 910f 19 degree I hope it falls in the same catagory

I love all of my Titleist gear, my irons, my wedges but my favorite has got to go to my Scotty Cameron Select Newport 2. When you think about it, you use your putter more than any club in your bag and you have to have that love for it as well as the confidence in it when you stand over all those putts. Great stuff!
Dave T.St. Catharines , ON
I have a very simple answer Mitch. All of them. And the reason is, because
they're Titleist.
Dave T.
Well put Dave !!!
Best answer of them all :)
Trevor DBragg Creek,
I'd have to go with my 15.5* 909 F2. I put an old Grafalloy blue driver shaft in that thing, cut it down and now it stays with me like a faithful dog. I love that club.
That being said, I've yet to actually play a round outside with my new 915 D3 but if TrackMan is any indication, I may have found a new love.
