Hey everyone I'm a student from Canada and just wondering if anyone had tips for where to go for an affordable golf vacation down south. Basically looking for all inclusive or somewhat close, any websites that could help me out on this?

Hi Michael...
I guess the big question is - What do you consider to be "affordable" ?
One place I have stayed which I consider to be a great deal is the PGA Village in Port St. Lucie Florida.

There are a lot of great deals to be had in Mexico, but I am one of those that avoid traveling to places where they need armed military personnel to protect incoming tourists and guests. But that is just me, as I know of a lot of guys who have made the trip and love it.
The PGA Village has 3 courses (which have been used by the Canadian Tour on and off over the years.
It also has a great training facility and golf school for those that want to get some lessons to hone their game while on vacation.
Certainly worth checking out...
Darius
Thanks Darius I'll definitely take a look

You can't beat the carolinas. If you stay mainland, and go to Santee S.C. you are right at the courses (2), good golf and great price (cart, golf hotel breakfast and round for around $650 for the week)
Also great is Jekyll Island georgia, just above jacksonville fla, courses off one proshop and same kinda set up.
Check them Out., We have been alternating between those for 20+ yrs in march and it has served us and the budgets well.
Good luck!

Define South?
I mean if you wanna just get away and are in say the GTA then places like Pennsylvania (Butler County) come to mind, Ocean City, Maryland and beyond the likes of Florida perhaps the D.R. Playa Dorada is right in the heart of the hotel complexes... lol providing it is still there. Was there in 2001. A lifetime ago.

your best bet is South Carolina(myrtle beach), cheap golf deals down there all the time, august and september you can stay at the legends for 500$ get 5 rounds breakfast lunch and 2 beers, as well as accommodation, courses are 7/10 condition some may be better, but for going on a budget deals like this are worth it, and in the Myrtle beach area there is lots todo. Check into some of these deals, they sound alittle fake sometimes but they are hurting down there and they will do anything to get business down there.

Have you tried any of the places in Michigan? I know you were asking about going down south, but having played a few courses over there it is extremely affordable and the courses are in great shape. Seeing as your profile listed that you are in Southwestern Ontario, it is a really easy drive to some of these places. I just did a stay and play a few weeks ago. It was 3 days, 3 different courses, 2 nights in hotel and breakfast both days for $245. Could have added more to the package but it was perfect for what i wanted. If you want luxury accommodations down south, i imagine it would be a few more bucks! Check some of them out for sure, you will be amazed what you can find.
Good luck in your search!
