Is there a difference / benefit of reshafing irons with a 3rd party (such as Golftown etc.) vs sending the irons back to Titleist to do the work (assuming that they offer that service of course). I am looking at reshafting my 735CM with KBS Tours.

Hi Jimmy,Great question. When you send your irons back to Titleist for reshafting we will warranty the shafts for up one year after installation. Meanwhile, 3rd party warranty policies will vary depending on where you take the clubs. Should you select Golf Town, you would have to inquire with them as to whether any warranty exists from reshafting and exactly what it covers. As an aside, for newly purchased irons (this doesn't apply to your case given that your irons are 735CM's)...If you were to send your irons to us for reshafting while the clubs were still under their full warranty, the warranty would continue to be valid. Meanwhile, if you were to do that with a 3rd party, the warranty on the irons would be voided. If you have any additional questions please don't hesitate to let us know. All the best Jimmy!Mitch DTeam Titleist Canada
Hi Mitch,
Thank you for the quick reply. If I was to go with Titleist, I take that I need to go to an authorized dealer? Would they have or be able to provide me with pricing for the work?
Thanks,
Jimmy
My pleasure Jimmy!Yes. A Titleist Authorized Retailer can provide you with pricing and take care of setting everything up for the re-shaft order.

TRIGGITY TRAVLeduc,
Send them to titleist for sure!! I've had some bad experiences with some 3rd party work.
