    Hi,

I know the D2 is 460cc is likely more forgiving ... and the D3 is 445cc and provides more workability.

Are there any other differences ?

I have a natual tendency to draw the ball, and sometimes fight a hook.... so am wondering about the statement on the D2:

"913D2 delivers exceptional distance and forgiveness with a slight draw bias"   ?

Where does the draw bias come from ?  weighting in the head maybe ? slightly more heel weighted ?

    Thanks,

    Troy R.

    Troy,

    Great question.

With regards to the two different models, they are not much different than what you have stated above.  With previous generation models there have been two distinct heads with one flying higher with more spin and forgiveness (D2) and one flying lower with less spin and more workability (D3).  Within the 913 generation we wanted to normalize the flight characterisitcs and brought the centre of gravity down in the D2 to be more in line with the D3 which results in similar spin and trajectory.  This allows you the consumer to choose whether you would like more forgiveness or more workability as well as head size.  The SureFit Tour Hosel and a proper fit will allow each club to have its loft and lie adjusted independently from each other that can really dial in either head.

As for the comment about the draw bias; due to the location of the centre of gravity (COG) within the D2 head (deeper), it will provide slightly more dynamic closure (draw bias) than the D3.  Placing the COG deeper in the club results in higher dynamic closure than that of a club with the COG moved forward.
