Hey Ted,

I was just doing some searching around for the head weight of the D3 but couldn't find anything. I was able to find the different weight sizes that are included in the weight kit. The SureFit Tour Weight Kit contains 4,7,9,11 and 14g flat weights. Hope this little bit of info helps you.

Ted, In regards to the raw head weight, this is not something that we will publish.

We do however have the ability to build your club to a specific swing weight utilizing the SureFit Tour Weight.  The NEW 913 Metals which are due to launch November 1 have the ability to be built using 4, 7, 9, 11, or 14 gram weights.  At the time of order, you can request a specific swing weight and our build team will place the appropriate SureFit weight or you can ask for a specific weight such as the 11 gram.

Driver heads will weigh under 200 grams with a standard weight, with heavier weights, you will be able to get close to the 205 gram weight you are seeking.  Bare in mind this will increase the swing weight in the club as well.

It is also important to note that you shouldn't necessarily be focusing in on just one factor.  We take into account the entire performance package.  The weight of the head, the length of the shaft, the weight of the shaft, the balance of the shaft, grip, grip size and weight etc. are all part of the total performance of the club.

Too much focus on just one of these variables runs the risk of an unbalanced club.

Thanks Mitch, what I'm getting at is that I want to feel the head at the end of the shaft especially if I'm using a 70 or 80 gram shaft.

It seems with the new drivers it's almost as if you are holding the club head and swinging the grip to get the swoosh sound.  I understand that the lightness helps in getting increased club head speed but I still want to feel the head. I remember the old Titleist

drivers like the 975J and I think it was the 962D they seemed a little heavier and you could feel them.

Just a quick note to add to Mat's post above the weights he has listed are probably without the hostel as well. The hostel factors in another 8grams and the ferrule is 1g for the driver. So you are at 193g+ already so adding the 11g SFTweight would get you to that 205 mark or close to it. 

Again total weight and swing weight are both very important parts of the club but generally something like total weight is based more on shaft weight rather than head weight for a players feel and then the proper swing weight is achieved but changing head wright based on grip selection. Don't just look at one piece you have to look at everything as Mitch pointed out. 

Best way to do it is to be fit properly but fit to shaft weight first, then grip, then swing weight. 

Land that will be the same way the club is built, swing weight is the last thing that is looked at. 

Just to confirm, the headweight are indeed without the surefit adapter!

I hate to drag up an old thread, but am I correct to iner the "193g+" number includes the SureFit hosel and ferrule? So the bare head weight (unscrewing the shaft from the head and removing the SureFit sole weight) would be about about 185g?

I've been lucky enough to try some 913's and measure a few specs on them (sorry, no launch monitor data)

Here are the headweights of each (without the weights)

913D3 9.5: 184.8g

913FLowSpin 15*: 195.8g

913F 15: 198.4g

913H 19: 214.7g

Shawn is right about the different bezel weights that are going to be availlable.
