Effective bounce on the sm4 Wedges

    I'm looking for info on effective bounces of the new sm4 wedges. When I look at the specs of the new sm4 wedges I can't tell if the bounces listed are adjusted for the grind types. For example: I'm looking to purchase a LW with a M grind and have it bent to 59 degrees. So, for the question. The 58.12 and 60.10 wedges, with the M grind, are they listed with the measured or effective bounce (12 and 10)? I play in the Okanagan Valley (Canadian side - mostly) with average to firm conditions in the fairway and firm in the sand so I can't have lots of bounce on my wedges.

    I have always wondered this as well I know the TVD wedges have a higher measured bounce but they used to list the measured and the effective bounce on the site. My guess is that the ones with the different grinds will be effective bounce but the full soles and s grind probably play pretty true to measured bounce. I have a tool on the way that will allow me to measure the bounce so I will report back in a couple of weeks on my findings.

    the one thing that is frustrating is as a left handed golfer we cannot get all of the grinds and bounce combinations. It would be nice considering there are a lot more left handed golfers out there now to be able to get this options.

    In regards to the bounces on the wedges, each wedge and wedge loft has a particular grind already designed into the sole. The 58.12 and 60.10 have 12° and 10° of bounce respectively. These are the measured bounces and wedges will be stamped with the measured bounce. Due to the trailing edge relief on the grinds, it will effectively play with slightly less bounce.
