lob wedge or sand wedge out of bunker?

    should i use a lob wedge(60) or sand wedge(56) out of a greenside bunker?

    This depends on many things: 1) How much green do you have to work with 2) How high is the lip 3) is the lie level 4) is the landing area level 5) How far do you need the ball to fly. Bounce is a final factor, as opening or closing the face will change the loft and bounce. I carry a 58-08, but I also own a 54-08, and a 60-07 You need to carry the clubs that make sense for the conditions. I can hit my 58-08 about 95 yards, and can open it up for a tight pin, or close it for a farther sand shot, it's all about the conditions and the technique...and practice...loads of practice.

    i always use a 60 open it up more if needed for shots with less green to work with or the green running away. for longer carry shots around the green or more green to work with i open it a little less and let it fly! but like the last post sand conditions also play into this if it is harder sand then don't open it as much to use less of your bounce
