  1. After playing the ProV1 for years, I am amazed of the new ProV1x softness and ability to stop and spin on greens. Plus, the yellow is another change I am making for 2019. Just ordered my new set up with the Titleist promotion (buy 3 get one free) so I am ready to go,....at least until the new irons come out later this year! LOL

I played the new ProV1x the other day for the first time and absolutely loved the feel! I will be making the same switch this year minus the yellow, I am just not that bold lol. Have a great season Chris!

Always tinkering, right, Chris? One of the hazards of being a Titleist aficionado. By the way, did you make the change based on a ball fitting, or just by trying out the two new balls?

I went with the yellow V1X too. Can't wait to play them.

Still playing my supply of the last version ProV1x.
Looking forward to playing the new ball sometime this spring.

I picked up both the Pro V1 and Pro V1X to test this year. Have used mainly the Pro V1 in the past. Bad weather, bad back and bad hips have kept me from doing anything but chipping and putting with them so far. The X is softer than I expected and the advertised ball flight being higher is intriguing to me. Hoping the rain will stop so I can get out to try the balls and knock off the rust from a long Winter.

I'm sticking with Pro V1. The last thing you need here in FL is a higher ball flight with the windy conditions that prevail, most of the time.

Finally had a decent day weather wise and got out to try the new ProV1 and X. After 18 holes of side by side testing I can say there is not much difference and could be happy playing either. The X is slightly longer with the driver and the Pro V1 slightly longer with iron shots. Both have superb feel and I don't find the X to be noticeably harder/clickier as they used to be. I've got a few dozen of each and honestly don't know which one will be my primary ball. Good problem to have I guess.
  10. I’m sticking with prov1s but I’m definitely going to try the new yellow ball. I think it looks great. Shoot well
  11. I feel this years X is half a club longer, feels softer and drops and stops.
