As much as I would like to travel overseas to see loved ones and play golf as one of the perks, it is something Australians have not been able to do since (circa March 2020) the country decided to impose strict travel restrictions and ban international travel altogether.

Having said that, I am grateful for having the opportunity to play golf once again; except I may only play in golf courses within 15 km from my home in Melbourne.

    Happy golfing, Titleist loyalists.

Very sad about the Australian travel restrictions. I was planning a golf holiday to Melbourne to play the sand belt courses and to Geelong to see friends, hoping the travel restrictions were lifted. Oh well I hope the restrictions are lifted by 2023.

Hi Scott. I truly believe in having a positive mindset and thus I have started planning a golf trip to Scotland. I hope borders fully reopen in 2023.

While you are in Geelong, I strongly recommend playing three gems of the Bellarine Peninsula: 13th Beach, Barwon Heads and Curlewis.

Then you may as well take the ferry and go across Port Phillip Bay and play other six exquisite golf courses along the Mornington Peninsula: St Andrews Beach, The National Moonah, Gunnamatta (Ocean) & Old Course, The Dunes, and my personal favourite: Moonah Links - Legends.

I hope you enjoy your time in the second-best golf destination on the planet.

Just saw on the news that the U.S. is opening International travel to those who are fully vaccinated beginning November 8th.

    Lethbridge,

Hi Felipe: The last time we were in your area I did get out to Curlewis. While I didn’t have a chance to play it looked like a great track and a fun play. I did get to see 13th Beach on TV when Min Woo Lee won the tournament there. Thanks for the recommendation I may have to spend some extra time in the area playing more courses. After a long plane ride from Canada extra time playing great courses is never a bad thing. Hopefully you are now getting out to “ Drive a Titleist.” Take care and stay safe.

    Hi Scott,
Another course for you to visit when you’re down Geelong way is Lonsdale Links.
    Well worth it!
    Regards,

  7. I would love to visit Melbourne, too. As a golf lover, I also want to enjoy playing here, too
I usually apply for vouchers when I a href="">couponplay.com/.../a to save the extra cost. Let's try it out!

That's tough news to hear. Different areas of the USA had more strict rules with regards to playing golf. What made things silly is there were no restrictions on travelling domestically; one could easily drive from a locked-down area to one that wasn't.
