In my current bag set up there is a gap between the 3 wood and the 3 iron. Is it worth getting a 5 wood to bridge the gap between the two?
Thanks

Hi Andrew C,
It's never easy to buy a club straight off the shelf and 'Gap Fit' without actually testing the various club options available to you - including the 913 F fairway metal, 913 H hybrid or even a 712U utility iron.
The best advice we can offer is to ask your nearest Titleist Fitter and try each option - looking out for launch, spin, carry and total distance characteristics of each club. The comparison will tell you which way to go and you might find that you have 2 clubs for the gap between your 3 Fairway and 3 iron.
Either way click here to find your nearest Titleist fitter - http://www.titleist.com.au/find-a-golf-shop/
Good luck and let us know how your golf improves,

G'day Andrew, I play two woods (Driver and 3W) and played a 2-iron for a few years, but my time on course was getting less consistent and my confidence in the 2I started to waver, so I too put some thought into how to replace it and fill that gap. I took a chance on a 17" hybrid and it has worked a treat, it's great off the tee and easy off the turf, and actually goes a bit longer than the 2I. It feels like cheating at times ;-)
Worth considering if you need more of an iron-like feel for your gap, cheers.
