The Winning Setup: Webb Simpson at THE PLAYERS Championship

In one of the most dominating 54-hole performances on the PGA TOUR this season against the toughest field in golf, Titleist Brand Ambassador Webb Simpson captured his first PLAYERS Championship by four shots.

Simpson relied on a Pro V1 golf ball and Titleist golf clubs to post an 18-under-par 270 victory total. Along the way, he equaled the course record with a second round 63, and also tied the 36 and 54-hole PLAYERS scoring records at 15-under 129 and 19-under 197, respectively.

“I feel like it's my first win,” Simpson said. “I feel so similar to how I felt in Greensboro back in 2011. There's been some tough moments along the way, but to come here against this field and do what I needed to get it done, I'm so happy.”
