ADAM SCOTT WINS IN SINGAPORE
SCOTT SOARS TO VICTORY
WITH PRO V1 AND NEW
TITLEIST 910 DRIVER
Titleist Brand Ambassador Adam Scott claims impressive victory in Singapore with the new Titleist 910 driver to headline another multiple win weekend for the legendary Titleist Pro V1 franchise
Full line Titleist player Adam Scott claimed his second win of the season at the Barclays Singapore Open, adding another title to the new Titleist 910 drivers’ ever growing role of honour. Returning on Monday to complete his final round, Scott posted his fourth consecutive round in the 60’s for a 17-under par total of 267, to record a three shot victory. The win not only marks Scott’s seventh career European Tour and 18th professional title, but also the eleventh for the new 910 driver series, which becomes available to consumers today (15th November 2010). The revolutionary independent loft and lie adjustability of the 910 driver series has propelled them into the hands of a large number of Titleist Brand Ambassadors across world tours, already leading the likes of Ross Fisher, Charley Hoffman, Matteo Manassero and Adam Scott to victory.
As well as the new 910 D3 driver, Scott trusted the feel and playability of Titleist equipment throughout his bag in Singapore, including the Pro V1 golf ball, 910 Fd prototype fairway, 909H hybrid, Titleist MB irons, Vokey Design Spin Milled pitching, sand and lob wedges, and Scotty Cameron Newport putter. Scott’s victory also sealed another stellar performance for the legendary Pro V1 golf ball franchise, which was the overwhelming golf ball of choice at Sentosa Golf Club. 128 players put their trust in the #1 Ball in Golf, more than four times the nearest competitor with 28.
It was a similar story on the PGA Tour, where Titleist was the overwhelming favourite at the top of the leaderboard at the Children’s Miracle Network Classic. Each of the top five finishers trusted the performance of Titleist for their success, led by Robert Garrigus (Pro V1) who shot a final round 8-under par 64 to finish on 21-under par, three shots clear of Roland Thatcher (Pro V1x), to claim his maiden PGA Tour victory. Titleist Brand Ambassadors Rickie Fowler (Pro V1x) and Johnson Wagner (Pro V1x) were joined by Pro V1x loyalist Spencer Levin in a tie for third place, as the #1 Ball in Golf claimed each of the top 5 places in Florida.
Elsewhere, on the LPGA Tour, In-Kyung Kim trusted the feel and control of the Pro V1 to post a final round 8-under par 64, and claim her third LGPA Tour victory at the Lorena Ochoa Invitational. On the South African Tour, Brandon Pieters came through an all Titleist Pro V1x play-off to claim the BMG Classic ahead of fellow Titleist golf ball loyalist Ben Mannix. Pieters and Mannix finished one shot ahead of Titleist Brand Ambassador Jean Hugo (Pro V1x) and Pro V1x loyalist Steven Ferreira, who completed an all-Titleist 1-2-3-4. These victories take Titleist’s 2010 worldwide golf ball win count to 139, more than six times the nearest competitor with just 23.
A stunning 18th professional victory for Titleist Brand Ambassador Adam Scott, coupled with multiple wins across worldwide professional tours for Titleist golf ball loyalists, continues to prove that the world’s best players opt for the matchless performance of Titleist.
